UVISOA PR Specialists DaraMonifah® Cooper and Leandra Kent spoke about next week’s Organic Farming & Biological Soil Amendment training with Dr. Louis Petersen SOA ANR Assistant Director STT/STJ District, and Extension Agent Vanessa Forbes. Dr. Petersen is the USVI SARE State Coordinator and Ms. Forbes serves as the Assistant Coordinator. Our special guest was Brennan Washington, Land Grant Liaison for the 1890 Universities, Southeastern Outreach Coordinator for Southern SARE, and owner of Phoenix Garden. The new produce safety rule was also mentioned.
